There is funding available for BUA research projects. You can either apply to the Bern University of Applied Sciences via the Call for Proposals (CfP 2014) of the BUAS Research Commission (BFH-Forschungskommission) or apply for funds from a third party outside the BUAS, for example from the Schweizerischer Nationalfonds (SNF; Swiss National Fund) or the Kommission für Technologie und Innovation (KTI; Commission for Technology and Innovation).

The success of these applications, whether to the BUAS Research Commission or to external funding bodies, depends on the respective evaluation procedures.

The BUAS Research Commission and most other funding bodies offer specific application forms, guidelines and further information.

Any application, whether to the BUAS or to an external funding body, has to be tested first by the BUA-internal Research Commission (HKB-interner Forschungsrat).
