net-mind.ch

A user-friendly Internet search engine incorporating an innovative form of data management and personalised output facilities

The design of graphic user interfaces requires both an understanding of what is technically feasible and an appreciation of what the users of the individual applications actually want. Interface designers need to find intelligent visual translations in order to facilitate the interaction between humans and the computer.

The market for specific Internet-content providers is big and still growing. The know-how provided and portrayed, however, is generally presented in an unappealing manner, and users often have difficulty in accessing the information and acquiring an overview.

The aim of “net-mind.ch” is to develop a user-friendly Internet search engine with an innovative form of data management. The collection and archiving tool can be aligned to the user’s specific requirements and thus offers customised output facilities. This personalised filing system can be used to store data in both document form (charts, reports) and on digital platforms (presentations, lessons).

The project is divided up into three phases (visualisations, business logic, industrialisation).
