The core aim of the Bachelor degree programme in Music and Media Arts is the development of a musical, artistic foundation for the conception and composition of music in a multi-media context. This is achieved, for the most part, through the students`independent and individually-fostered musical practice and the exchange among students from this degree programme with students from other programmes. Furthermore, the programme promotes careful and educated judgement by continuously encouraging the students to view their work in the context of music and media theory, as well as the context of the contemporary scene. The gradual build-up of the students' own artistic network and phases of professional work experience accompany and complement the studies.
