Educational Objectives
The Master`s degree programme prepares graduates for a highly competitive international market. Building up on the more general Bachelor’s degrees, it focuses on the students’ independence and, therefore, promotes skills in self-management and independent creative production (authorship). The degree programme shapes specific individual strengths and extends the disciplinary horizon beyond conventional theatrical traditions. Students take their specialisation to a high level. Throughout their studies they initiate, plan and realise their own productions and relate them to various audiences’ interests. They learn how to involve different art forms and addressees in their projects. The degree programme equips them to take on leadership roles. Finally, they learn to connect artistic and academic questions and to recognise the relevance of their projects for research.
