Prerequisites

The Master’s degree in Theatre with the specialisation in Scenic Arts Practice requires a high degree of innovation and creativity, great independence, a strong capacity for self-reflection and the ability to work collaboratively.

Conditions for Admission

Prospective students for the MA in Theatre have to pass the aptitude test: The formal conditions permitting prospective students to participate in the aptitude test are:  

• A Bachelor of Arts in Theatre or in a subject closely related to theatre
  
• Evidence of equivalent qualifications. The Admissions Committee will examine if these qualifications are equivalent in the aptitude test. 

The teaching and working languages of the Master of Arts in Theatre are German and English.
