Neue Methoden für die Vermittlung von Kunst im öffentlichen Raum - mit der App pARTicip Kunst neu entdecken

The aim of this project is to develop an application for smartphones
and computers that will enable the general user to find works of art that are in the public domain, and to have interactive access to all their relevant
data (e.g. the work’s identifying information and provenance etc.). The pri- mary goal is thus to develop an interactive information service. When using the application, the public should also have a collaborative monitoring function with regard to the state of conservation of the works of art.
In an initial project phase, the users will have the possibility of establishing direct contact with the researchers in order to optimise the application
to meet their needs. In a second phase, a response tool is planned for the application that will enable the user to provide feedback to the owners about the state of the artworks (e.g. to report any vandalism, deterioration etc.).

This project is part of the BFH Centre for Arts in Context.
