Degree Structure

The Master’s degree programme comprises 120 ECTS Credits and is usually completed in four semesters.

Students take one Major (one-to-one lessons in the core subject plus advanced interpretation and performance) and choose one additional Minor, following their individual priorities. The Minor can be chosen from all Music courses on offer.

The degree programme combines the development of artistic expressive abilities with stylistic diversity and the realisation of musical projects. Theory and practice complement one another. Recitals, participation in concerts and traineeships in orchestras guarantee performing opportunities and the gathering of professional experience.

The Master thesis rounds off the degree. It consists of a recital, which is evaluated by external examiners, and also entails written and oral parts.
