  • Prof. Stephan Haller has been working at the Institute for Public Sector Transformation at Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) since 2015. He teaches in the fields of project management, databases, and innovation and transformation in the public sector. His research focuses on data-driven innovation in the public sector, particularly in the areas of smart cities, open data and data spaces. To this end, he regularly secures and leads national and international (EU/Japan) research projects in these fields.
  • Stephan has over 30 years’ experience in international research and development within the software industry and worked for several years at SAP (1997–2012) and other companies in Switzerland, Japan and Germany.
