Music In Times of Misery Benefit Concert for Peace

Music builds bridges, music is free, music wins the heart.

15.04.2022, 7pm – Aula im PROGR, Waisenhausplatz 30
, 3011 Bern

«Guernica», das Gemälde von Pablo Picasso

In this moderated concert, we have compiled works by Russian and Ukrainian women composers who were subjected to political repression under the Soviet regime or had to flee their homeland.

Between the performances, interesting facts about the circumstances of the creation of a particular work as well as about the lives of women composers in exile or under the constant pressure of the repressive regime are conveyed.

Moderation & Texts: Marina Sobyanina (composer, performer, HKB alumna)

Free admission with collection (goes entirely to the SOS-Kinderdorf for the benefit of refugees from Ukraine).

Every commitment helps. Donations can be made directly to the SOS-Kinderdorf.
