Situation

Tree populations are of crucial importance to life in the city. In light of the climate crisis, urban planners need to take greater account of the ecological function of trees. However, there is a general lack of appropriate cartographic methods for visualising knowledge and communicating data. The aim of this doctoral project is to develop cartographic visualsations that can depict the complex ecological functions of urban trees.
