Papiermühlestrasse 13, Bern
The Music facilities at Papiermühlestrasse 13 are located in the old Bern barracks, the Kaserne. The location is primarily used for instrumental instruction; the recording studio, the Music library and concert rooms are also located here.

Getting here by public transport
From Bern central station, take bus 10 toward Ostermundigen Rüti
to bus stop Schönburg. Cross the street and turn onto
Funkerstrasse. The HKB is located at the end of
Funkerstrasse. The reception is located at entrance 13a.
Getting here by car
There are a few pay-and-display parking spaces available on the grounds. Mon–Fri from 6 am to 7 pm, a parking permit must be obtained from the office in order to park. Outside of those times, the parking meter must be used. Additional parking spaces open for parking 24/7 are located in front of Papiermühlestrasse 17 (parking meter).

Room rental
For musical events held in collaboration with the HKB, we may be able to provide space.
Treffpunkt Restaurant
The ‘Treffpunkt’ restaurant is open on weekdays until roughly 4 pm. It is operated by Waffenplatz Bern and is open to the public.
Library
The HKB Music Library is a public library (open from 10 am–6 pm, Mon–Fri) with a large collection of sheet music, CDs, DVDs and academic literature, as well as work places and listening stations.
