Chikako Morishita is a Japanese composer and pianist whose works have been performed internationally by ensembles and orchestras including the Tokyo Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra, Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Ascolta, ELISION Ensemble, and Ensemble Lemniscate, among many others.

Her music has been presented at leading international festivals such as the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Zagreb Music Biennale, Asian Composers League Asian Music Festival, Techtonics Festival, and the Bendigo International Festival of Exploratory Music.

Active as a pianist, she regularly performs with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at major events including the Suntory Summer Festival and the Toru Takemitsu Composition Award. She has also collaborated with composers such as Salvatore Sciarrino, Helmut Lachenmann, Joji Yuasa, and Dai Fujikura.
