Situation

While the general objective – trustworthy and interoperable data spaces in as many sectors as possible – is undisputed, both the current status of data sharing initiatives in Switzerland and the need for action from the perspective of data space operators are currently a black box. This study addresses these issues by conducting a survey on the status of individual projects and the challenges they face. Based on the information obtained through online surveys and personal interviews, concrete success factors and practical recommendations are derived in order to achieve the above-mentioned objective as quickly as possible. The findings and recommendations of the study will be presented for discussion and further elaboration at the Swiss Data Space Forum 2025.

This project contributes to the following SDGs
