KULT Anniversary event @ Schlosskonzerte Thun

KULT invites you to an anniversary event at the “Schlosskonzerte Thun”.

05.05.2024, 5pm–6pm – Scherzligen-Kirche, Seestrasse, 3600 Thun

With thrills, anticipation, inspiration, wit, depth and lots of sound – an event for you, dear people from the Bern/Thun region, that will give you a taste of the upcoming, colourful season of the 2024 Castle Concerts. In the festive concert, we will offer an exquisite surprise programme with performances of classical music, jazz, experimental music and literature, with students from the music, Swiss Literature Institute and theatre departments of Bern Academy of the Arts (HKB).

Because: KULT – the student agency of the HKB – is celebrating its 20th birthday.
In these fast-moving times, that's a minor sensation! Also sensational are the artists studying at the Bern University of the Arts and the commissions that have been realised through KULT over the past 20 years.

And now in its 5th year, the HKB Music is collaborating with the Schlosskonzerte Thun, which offers students the opportunity to showcase their own versatile profile at the renowned festival within the #onTour concerts in a low-threshold and interesting way.

With the duo lis à lis and the ALMAR Trio, HKB Musik presents exciting KULT gems between tradition and innovation. Musicians are deliberately selected to build a bridge between classical and avant-garde music.

The Swiss Literature Institute in turn offers a literary student contribution by Sophie Feuz, performed by HKB theatre student Lara Amelie Sauer.

Pure adrenalin at the Schlosskonzerte! Let's celebrate together!
