Āzādi (آزادی)

Āzādi is a poetic, political and personal solo performance about witnessing catastrophe in Iran from the safety of Europe. Through live action, text, movement, video, sound and recorded voices, Arash Azarm moves between family calls, news, memories, dreams, club nights and silence—asking how one mourns from afar, and what freedom means when the body is safe but the mind remains at home.
