Slight Discomfort
The project should describe the slightly discomforting feeling you get when realizing you are living a mediocre life that – if not for the exploitation of basically everyone else on this planet – would be even worse.
Floaty atmospheres over subtle beats help you sit with these thoughts and emotions until you gather Inspiration to start change.

Fusion

I am still looking for somebody to play synths and/or live electronics in my bachelor’s concert. Would you maybe Maybe you are interested in playing in my band? I really enjoy what you are currently doing, and I think it could really fit into my concept. My vision is to do an ambient, free improv, breakbeats, punk, electroacoustic, drones thing.
Currently, it’s with Danis on sax and guitar and Lennart on bass, and obviously, I am on drums.

Forfeit Huh
Openness and room for interpretation are key. Trying to explore new timbres for this project, Forfeit Huh will create a precise image of two grizzly bears fighting for territory on a grey shore in Alaska. But that’s only one example. Most importantly, I play with wonderful people who happen to be great musicians and not the opposite, because this music needs above all strong human connections.

Philip Kiefer
What I love most about the saxophone is that it serves as an extension of my voice – a voice that is not limited to words but is primarily meant to evoke emotions that words alone cannot express.
The saxophone is my vehicle to connect my inner world directly with the outside world.
Combined with my own compositions, I strive to create my very own, personal music.
I warmly invite you to join my quartet on a journey through my musical world.

Don Gorgon
Don Gorgon is not ‘just’ a musical performance. Damien defines his project as a spiritual journey, a ritual in which the audience takes part simply by being present and experi-encing the moment alongside the musicians. A moment of sharing, self-realization and serenity.
Damien Limat (ts), Anton Martinez (p), Benjamin Jaton (b), Louis Waeber (tp), Wolfgang Dolder (synth), Jo Mayasi (dr)

_ferrofluids picture a fusion of liquids and magnetic energy – flowing and reacting in response to invisible forces, creating unique and ever-changing forms and patterns_
ferrofluide is a Bern-based collective playing music they’d probably call ‘a fusion of bedroom free jazz and modernist jazz approaches to art pop, while always keeping a simplistic complexity.’
Inspired by artists like Thom Yorke, Nick Drake and impro- visers like Leif Berger and Sidsel Endresen, ferrofluide is always eager to experiment with new sounds and textures, and, like ferrofluids, creating a close relationship and interaction through their playing, resulting in ever so new patterns of music and sound perception.
Camilla Santacroce (voc, fx), Oskar Nolan (keys, synth, fx), Lennart Schandl (bass, fx), Maxence Nappez (extended dr)

Asynchronous
Asynchronous is a word that captures that nagging feeling of being just slightly off or out of sync.
It’s the feeling of seeing people move and talk, their lives moving forward with a sense of purpose, while you’re caught in that liminal space, detached, watching it unfold from the outside. This music is the sound of that tension,
of straining to fit in while knowing you’re a little bit apart. It’s rough, soft, comfortable, coarse – like the jagged edges of an idea that’s not fully formed but still somehow real, undeniable. A conversation, yes, but one that loops back on itself, endlessly, trying to reconcile the moments of close-ness and distance, the tenderness and the discomfort, like a thought you can’t quite finish but keep coming back to. There’s no resolution. Just the ongoing, unresolved dialogue between being part of the world and being not quite in it.
Anton Martinez (p), Florian Pfister (tp), Damien Limat (sax), Till Santschi (db), Simon Migy (dr)

Waves of Change
This project is inspired by the changes that took place during the last three years of my life since arriving in Switzerland during the war. My music expresses what it was like to cultivate new friendships and community as well as immersing myself in creativity again – experiences that have left my soul filled with gratitude. Let this perfor-mance be both mine and your space for personal reflection, and let music be our guide.

Michael Kessler’s 2074
High-paced technological progress is constantly transforming our daily lives, communication, and work environments. What will society and our democracies look like in 50 years from now? Will life be completely unrecognizable, or will it remain familiar but with subtle, eerie shifts? 2074 does musical future studies – encouraging visions.

¿Y ahora qué?
¿Y ahora qué?
me pregunto
¿Que quiero de mi música?
…
¡Que contagiosa sea su energía!
¡Que suenen las voces!
¡Que me olvide del que será!
¡Que disfrute del momento!
¡Que me ría de misma!
¡Que lo suelte todo!
Y lo que no, que salga sin que yo me de cuenta …
Que vuelva a decir,
¿Y ahora qué?

How can I return?
How can I remain?
I’m still trying to figure out
what this life is all about.
Am I allowed
to let me go, slowly fade out?
And would you still be proud
of me?
Will I find beauty in the
while searching for my inner

child?
How can I return?
How can I remain?
