Valerian Alfare
TUNING OUT

Take a walk through your mind, following different thoughts and emotions. Turn down the volume of the outside world and let the music guide you on a journey through a jungle of impressions. Experience a program that combines influences of different styles of music while being inspired by stories rather than terms of definition. Performing for the first time in this constellation, the band will premiere new compositions and arrangements by trumpet and euphonium player Valerian Alfaré.

Wiebke Henning (voc, vln), Ferdinand Silberg (tb), Lucien Palak (ts, reeds), Mattia Facchini, N.N. (as, reeds), Valerian Alfare (tp, euph), Liam Vallon (p, synth), Nil Flückiger (b), Maxence Nappez (dr), Jonas Lusti (g)

Ioann Baszanger
Ioann B's Bachelor grand ensemble

A work about the love of eclectism and the incapacity of taking a decision.
From quiet to loud and slow to fast, the band will guide you in a short journey through jazz, funk and electronic music.

Flavie Ndam (sax), Louis Waeber (tp), Liam Vallon (p, synth), Martin Sourisse (dr), Oskar Boesch (g), Enzo Franzetti (eb), Talia Buffle Benetos (elx), Ioann Baszanger (vln, comp)

Ernestine Mermet
Ernestine Mermet 8tet

Have you ever seen a large band with no cis-man ?
I haven’t. But I have seen too many bands with only cis-men.
Come and you’ll see something different, with music written especially for the occasion, exploring  different music genres from jazz to metal travelling through many others.
In this music you’ll hear the exploration of different spectrums, of wrongly considered opposites : softness - loudness, simplicity - complexity, comfortable emotions - uncomfortable emotions, silence - words, written - improvised and many more. Come and either witness or recharge your liberating anger with us.

Ernestine Mermet (fl, voc), Serena Fux (voc), Lélia Rassat Guerroudj (voc), Flavie Ndam (as, ss), Noah Picheral (bcl), Nora Zufferey (eb), Maroussia Maurice (p), Zoé Marti (dr)

Liam Vallon
Liam Vallon Quartet

Freedom can only exist within a defined frame of limitations. From precise and subtle adjustments to absolute reinterpretation of a given material, multiple individualities work as one to bring colors and shapes to ideas once confined to the composer's mind.

Where does the composition process truly end?

Can form exist within entropy?

Can the singularity of a moment agglomerate into meaningful constellations?

How organized must we be to recognize chaos?

Lucien Palak (ts), Liam Vallon (p, comp), Nil Flückiger (b), Simon Migy (dr)

21.15 Uhr

Valentin Leuenberger
**The SAVU Project**

A collision between the rhythmic labyrinths of Tigran Hamasyan, the harmonic universe of Louis Cole, the razor-sharp melodic intensity of Immanuel Wilkins, and the fearless inspiration of Genevieve Artadi. The SAVU Project isn’t music you simply listen to. It’s something you experience live.
Straight up inside-out the pocket music.
 Melancholic. Unsettling. Honest.
Self-Composed pieces because the demons told me to.

Lucas Castro (dr), Enzo Franzetti (eb, b), Maurice Ruf (eg), Valentin Leuenberger (p)

19.30 Uhr

Maurice Ruf
a rough idea

Someone I know once told me his world is one of melody and fantasy. Those words have stayed with me ever since. What would it be like to live in a world like that, noticing little harmonies in everyday life and feeling rhythm in daily routines? I hope my music can give you a rough idea of what that world could be.

Maurice Ruf (g), Louis Waeber (tp), Anton Martinez (p), Till Santschi (b), Simon Guyer (dr)

21.15Uhr

Julien Carron
Catharsis

In an intimate solo performance, guitarist Julien Carron navigates through sound, time and space forming a catharsis and temporarily isolating the room from the rest of the world.

Julien Carron (g)

19.30 Uhr

Jeremy Dunant
Heatwave

The best part of summer is when evening comes and the heat finally dies down. The air starts to feel lighter. You hope it'll rain during the night so it gets cool enough to fall asleep. The louder the rain, the deeper the sleep.

Serena Fux (voc), Martin Sourisse (dr), Ernestine Mermet (fl, voc), Olivier Chappuis (b), Anton Martinez (p), Jeremy Dunant (g, synth)

19.30 Uhr

Simon Migy
Simon Migy Quartet

« Simon Migy quartet » is an ambition that goes far beyond Simon’s own expectation, a doorway to new ideas and shared musicality. The frame, deeply embedded in some long- established partnerships, aims to offer new creative features; powerful grooves waiting to be sublimed by new voices, colors, visions. The depth of a synth bass melting with a trumpet’s euphoria, loud drums with subtile harmonies. The project is a starting point as well as a statement of the artist’s accomplished skills, an enhanced work ready to take off.

Liam Vallon (p), Téo Lagares (synth, keys), Robin Marquis (tp), Simon Migy (dr)

21.15 Uhr

Martin Sourisse
Martin Sourisse Quartet

Lucien Palak (ts), Sonya Chernysh (p), Nil Flückiger (b), Martin Sourisse (dr)

19.30 Uhr

Lino Schmid
Linoleum - Don't trip while falling into the ground
music composed by linoleum

It's a wink, a grin, a dance move you didn’t plan. It has a groove that pulls you in, sound that hugs your ears, and power that doesn’t shout. It’s the soundtrack to late-night kitchen dance-offs and “are we still awake?” texts. Choosing joy over stress. Friendship is the foundation: no solo act, but shared breathing — a promise you’re never alone, whether on stage or in your headphones.

Mia Ohlmeier (dr), Flurin Kasper (dr), Maurice Ruf (g), N.N. (b), Mia Lieuwen (voc), Lino Schmid (voc, keys)

19.30 Uhr

Mia Lieuwen
Petals of Protest

"A circular journey unfolds—several parts breathing as one. Original compositions arise from lived experience, shaped by attentiveness to bodies, landscapes, and responsibility. The music drifts between vulnerability and quiet resistance, where personal traces touch larger currents. Sounds return altered, inviting listening as an act of presence and care.“

Mia Lieuwen (voc), Valentin Leuenberger (p), Maurice Ruf (g), Valentin Stauch (b), Mia Ohlmeier (dr)

21.15 Uhr

Serena Fux
Blush Bit goes Academia xD

By keeping a focus on what comes to me naturally & surrounded by musicians who radiate warmth, this project honors my crude softness while celebrating introspective intensity. An honest and intimate body of work centered around feelings that are translated into moods swaying between romanticism, heaviness & blowing bubbles.

Serena Fux (voc, comp), Ernestine Mermet (fl, voc), Flavie Ndam (as), Matea Botella Monje (p), Jeremy Dunant (eg), Enzo Franzetti (b, eb), Zoé Marti (dr)
