Zum 6. Mal verwandelt sich der PROZESS in Bümpliz in das pulsierende Herzstück der Berner Musikszene. Studierende und Dozierende erkunden gemeinsam neue musikalische Welten zwischen Tradition und Experiment.

Somewhere nestled between fine pizzas, third-wave coffee, two coops (with palak paneer par excellence) and various South American embassies, (possibly) the oldest Jazz school in Europe continues to inspire: producing art, music and musicians of international quality and unparalleled intrigue.

Now into the 6th year of our residency in Bümplitz’s Prozess, the Jazz and Contemporary Music department promises 6 solid nights of world premieres that will comfort, challenge, calm and arouse. Radical empathy, 2020s Swing, rencontres improvisées… teachers and students take the stage together in a setting where the only thing to expect is the unexpected.
