Master's Flute Recital: Playing with the Jury

Steckbrief

  • Jahr 2024

In the life of a musician, the presence of the jury is a constant challenge that evolves over time. For this final recital, Alice Thomas chose to explore the delicate balance between performance and evaluation by embracing this dual nature of the recital and reflecting on the complex relationship between the musician and the jury. With a program spanning centuries and aesthetics and thanks to musical theatre pieces of François Saran, she could imagine a new format of concert, meeting and playing with a jury on stage. What happens when you meet your jury and the worst comes up? Each musician could make a recital out of it!
