Contrast

For this project, I decided to dedicate it to music. More specifically: the contrast between military drums used in periods of war and political conflict in human history and the same instrument used for dance and/or ‘artistic’ music. The main challenge of this project is to create this contrast in a video lasting several minutes. To do this I have a drum kit at home, as I'm a musician myself. The idea is to play between marching drum rhythms and Latin / Jazz rhythms. In the video we can see the 1st atmosphere being alone in a house playing marching rhythms. In the second part, it's during a show played in Yverdon during a drum solo in a jazz / pop context.
